Yakima River Fly Fishing Report – 5/3/10
Fishing is about to get really good. The Mother’s Day Caddis hatch is going to happen very soon, and you are going to want to be on the Yakima River when it is going on. The Salmon flies are hatching in the upper river, as well as March Browns and BWO’s. Nymphing has been good, it is a lot easier to get it where it needs to be and keep it there in the wind we have been having. There are some Spring Chinook moving below Roza Dam (springers opened 5/1 below Roza).
