Klickitat River Fly Fishing Report – 9/29/13

I just got back from Alaska and headed straight down here to the Klickitat. This epic return of Fall Chinook is unbelievable. We are hooking 10-25 of these king salmon a day. Nymphing and swinging. We have been trying to find some steelhead, but there are so many salmon in every run that one of them eat it before it can get to a steelhead. This is some crazy fishing. I am looking forward to October on the Klick!
