F.A.Q

What if we need gear? – We have rods and other gear for you to use on your trip. If you need waders, jackets, or other necessary gear let us know. We have a variety of gear in different sizes that you can use.

What if we are beginning fly fishers? – Nearly half of our guests are beginner fly anglers. Our guides are very patient and enjoy teaching beginners how to cast and fish effectively, and then being a part of landing their first fish on a fly rod. We have all the gear you would need for your trip, so you don’t have to go to the fly shop and invest in a bunch of equipment while your are just getting into the sport.

Do you fish from a boat? – Yes, we use top of the line fiberglass drift boats and rafts designed for fly fishing. We fish from them and use the boats as transportation between prime water that we can wade. We can spend as much or little time in the boat as you like.

Do you fish with spey rods? – Yes, all of our guides are expert spey casters. Not only will we teach you spey casting techniques, we will show you how to effectively fish with a spey rod. We bring spey rods on all our steelhead trips and are more than happy to show you how to cast and fish with a spey rod or critique your cast.
