Olympic Peninsula Fly Fishing

About the Olympic Peninsula:

Large numbers of steelhead return to the Olympic Peninsula every year, with many winter fish over twenty pounds. The Hoh, Sol Duc, Bogachiel, Calawah, and Queets rivers are where we direct most our efforts for these magnificent fish in the Winter. Swinging streamers with spey rods and nymphing with single hand rods are the techniques we use while targeting winter steelhead. We use the boat for transportation and we also nymph on the go between swinging runs to thoroughly cover the water that holds steelhead.

The breathtaking landscape of the Olympic Mountains and old growth timber which are home to large herds of elk and countless eagles, combined with the presence of trophy steelhead make for and unforgettable experience.

Washington Fly Fishing Testimonials

September 6, 2014

Hey, I wanted to thank you for your hard work and river choices that made our trip fantastic. I can not tell you how much fun we had and how stoked we both were on the beauty of the place and the quality of the fish. I want to get us back in for the same time next February. We both know how lucky we are with the timing and fully appreciate the kind of days we may seldom see again.
